Thunder Lodge is located next to the fish pond at the end of the Rolling Thunder Extreme Race Park which has a 1/8 mile drag strip/ 500' hill climb/ restaurant/ dance floor/ bar, at 3 mile curve in Logan, WV. We are just minutes from both Bear Wallow, and Rock House Trail, and within 35 minutes of Buffalo Mtn. and Water Ways Trail Heads.
Unit #1 can accommodate up to twelve adults comfortably. Central heat and air, a living room with two double futons and a TV with satellite and VCR, a fully furnished kitchen with accommodations, a laundry facility, two bedrooms with two double beds each, and a bathroom with shower, also a rear deck with grill and a fire pit. Plenty of parking is available. Unit #2 has the same features as the first but with an extra bedroom it can accommodate up to 16 adults.
We here at Thunder Lodge can assist you with Hatfield & McCoy trail passes, guided tours and even special events such as hunting or fishing trips and even white water rafting trips. There are allot of activities that go on throughout the year that are close by such as Bridge Day, Hillbilly Days, Apple Butter Festival... etc. Please feel free to ask me for any info you would like to have...
